How we research

• Rules and rebates: read on government pages only and dated "as at". We re-check before every federal step-down (next: 1 January 2027) and monthly for WA and NSW.
• Specs: from each maker's Australian datasheet and warranty, and the Clean Energy Council approved list. Where sources disagree, we say so.
• Prices: from installers' and retailers' own published prices, with the seller named and the date the seller gives. If a seller gives no date, we don't use that price. We don't average them into a price of our own. Where we can't find one, we say it's missing.
• No hands-on trials. We haven't installed or used these batteries ourselves. We don't use made-up reviews or ratings.
• Corrections: tell us and we'll fix it and note the date.
